Morristown, NJ, September 14, 2011 ― Actavis, an international generic pharmaceutical company, today announced that it has received FDA approval of Levetiracetam Extended-Release Tablets, a generic equivalent of Keppra XR®. Shipping commenced immediately following approval.
Keppra XR® had US total sales of approximately $161 million for the 12 months ending June 30, 2011, according to IMS Health.
